Abry Jones signs tender

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Abry Jones has signed his one-year tender offer from the team, the club announced today.

Jones, 6-4, 320, has played in 39 games after earning a roster spot in 2013. His three-year career totals include 64 tackles (38 solo), 5.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, three passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He played in all 16 games in 2014, posting career-high tackle (39) and sack (3.0) totals. The Warner Robins, Ga. native attended Georgia, where he was a three-year letterman and tallied 107 tackles (52 solo), 35 QB pressures, 13.5 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks and two forced fumbles.

Jones, 24, is a native of Warner Robbins, Ga. And attended Warner Robbins Northside High School.
