Ashley Homestore and Jaguars Foundation deliver fancave recliners to community organizations

Together, the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation and Ashley HomeStore finalized the $40,000 donation today with deliveries to Clara White Mission and Community Connections. Jacksonville Jaguar Guard AJ Cann, Jaxson de Ville and the Roar joined in to make the experience even more memorable and help mark the HomeStore's 71st Anniversary.

"While we all recognize Ashley HomeStore's incredible year-round contribution of new beds to children in need, what a better way to celebrate their 71st anniversary than to partner together to donate the 71 recliners from the Fan Cave to benefit children, teens, veterans and families," said Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation President Peter Racine.

The recliners will be utilized in various ways to benefit children, teens, veterans and families, including for after-school programs, teen centers, veterans shelter and homeless families transitioning to permanent housing.

According to Susie Loving with 5 Star Veteran Center, "The chairs have been great with

helping our clients with chronic back pain. They are able to sit in the chair, recline and relieve their back pain while at our center." The recliners will also be used to increase relaxation in PTSD clients while practicing stress management activities."

As an organization we couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity, said Ashley HomeStore-Jacksonville CEO Howard Fineman. "Our partnership with the Jaguars enables us to add value in many new and important ways. To think that our donation is helping local military heroes relax and manage PTSD that was acquired protecting us, our families…well, we're just honored to be able to help in any way we can."

EverBank will also join the Jaguars in the anniversary celebration by donating four Ashley HomeStore couches from the fantasy football lounges in the US Assure Clubs, currently being renovated, to Community Connections and the Clara White Mission.

The organizations were chosen based on need and opportunity to benefit clients in a variety of ways. Recipients included: Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida, Boys and Girls Club of Nassau County, Children's Home Society, Community Connections, Family Promise, Five Star Veterans Center, Ronald McDonald House, Sanctuary on 8th Street, Seamark Ranch, Teen Challenge, The Bridge of Northeast Florida, and Youth Crisis Center/Touchstone Village.
