Doug Marrone - Friday, November 23, 2018

(On the status of the wide receiver corps with DJ Chark Jr. ruled out) "It's always disappointing when a guy's starting to come on, you know, he's been doing really well, special teams-wise – obviously everyone saw that. He's been doing really well in practice, offensively. It's a shame, especially when you're young, you don't want any types of setbacks during the season. It seems like that's what's been going on. Just keep moving."

(On if Chark's quad injury is likely week-to-week) "Yeah, I think if it wasn't, anytime it's this time of year and it's not week-to-week and it's going to be a long period of time, then you're going to go ahead and make a roster move, but if you think there's a chance [that a player can come back], then obviously, you're going to keep seeing where he's to a point where you say, 'Enough is enough,' and you make a move if there is a move out there to make. [Josh] Wells was back today. Wells looked good. The problem with how that whole [designated for return] policy is is that he'll only be able to come back for the last three games. He was out there today and he looked good."

(On who will replace Chark as one of the gunners on the punt coverage unit) "We've looked at a couple different guys out there. We're going to go back in and talk about the rotation of playing, things of that nature, and then see who's going to go out there and play. We have a couple guys, so we'd have to mix up some of the personnel."

(On Marcell Dareus' back injury and his questionable status for Sunday) "He's had it, so the good thing about it is that Eli [Ankou] is listed as questionable; we feel at least one – if not both [of those players, Ankou and Dareus] – will be ready, if we had to play."
