Our Mission

Believing that youth represent the community's future, the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation is committed to support programs benefiting economically and socially disadvantaged youth, families and other NFL and team charitable initiatives.

Jaguars Foundation

Under the leadership of Jaguars owner Shad Khan and his family, the Jaguars Foundation continues to be a national leader in professional sports philanthropy, providing more than $1 million dollars in grants this year. The Foundation continues to provide support to the community's most vulnerable children and have broken ground in new avenues that align with NFL and team priorities to extend the team's philanthropic reach in support of the community. Areas of support include, but are not limited to, military and veteran support, college scholarships, and many youth programs throughout the Greater Jacksonville Area.

Grant proposals are looked at for a long-term effect rather than a "band-aid" approach. The programs we support strive to encourage our youth to dream and to instill hope for a better tomorrow, to set goals and to make the commitment necessary to fulfill their dreams and achieve their goals.

In addition to monetary support, the Jaguars Foundation provides more than 11,000 charitable tickets each season, with a value of over $450,000.  These tickets are allocated to Honor Rows programs and other charitable organizations.

Jacksonville was awarded the thirtieth NFL franchise on November 30, 1993.  The Jaguars Foundation began its support of the Jacksonville community before a game was played; the Foundation's first grants were given before the Jaguars' inaugural season began in 1995.
