Jacksonville Jaguars fans are invited to TIAA Bank Field this Sunday afternoon to see the Jaguars take on the New England Patriots in the team's regular season home opener. The matchup will kick off at 4:25 p.m. on CBS and will be broadcast locally on WJAX CBS47.

THE FIRST DUUUVAL

Last season, no word or phrase became more synonymous with Jaguars fans around the country than the team and community's rallying cry of "DUUUVAL." This Sunday, the team will introduce a brand-new game day tradition designed to capture that home field advantage just moments before kickoff. Immediately following the coin toss, fans can direct their attention to the southeast flag pole tower where the 2017 AFC South Division championship flag flies, and where a special guest will shout the first "DUUUVAL" of the game before the full house of more than 67,000 echoes their response. For the inaugural First DUUUVAL, the Jaguars have enlisted Pride of the Jaguars member and former LT Tony Boselli to lead off this new tradition, which is presented by Duval Motor Company.

PREGAME PATRIOTISM

Following team introductions, the colors will be presented by both a joint services color guard and a joint honor guard representing the Jacksonville Sherriff's Office and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. The national anthem will be performed by local artist Alec Hadden, with sign language interpretation by Kinsey of THE ROAR of the Jaguars. A 100-yard field flag will be displayed by first-year Jaguars season ticket members. Following the anthem, a flyover will be performed by four F-16s from the 482nd Fighter Wing and 93rd Fighter Squadron from Homestead Air Reserve Base.

MILITARY HONOREES

During the first quarter, the Jaguars will honor retired U.S. Navy Captain Dale Raebel as the Veteran of the Game presented by Dr. Patrick Basile. During his more than three-decade career in the U.S. Navy, Captain Raebel served our country with incredible valor and was once held as a prisoner of war in Vietnam for 225 days. The SunPass® Hometown Hero is Corporal Bill Eierman, a 16-year veteran of the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, who was recently wounded in the line of duty in early August. The First Data Veteran-Owned Business of the Game is Academy of Scholars, represented by their founder and CEO, former U.S. Army Specialist Shevonica Howell. The Navy Mutual Bell Ringer is U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Jason Francis who has spent a total of 47 months deployed overseas while serving our country on active duty. New this season, all military recognitions will be located at the all-new Camp Grunt Style, a military-inspired environment open to all fans on the north deck at TIAA Bank Field.

BE PREPARED ON GAME DAY

Tickets to 2018 Jaguars games are completely mobile via the Official Jacksonville Jaguars app. Attendees should access their tickets before arriving at TIAA Bank Field and save them to a mobile device for easy access. Game tickets should be pulled up with barcodes ready as fans approach the stadium on game day to expedite entrance into the stadium.

The NFL's clear bag policy is in effect at TIAA Bank Field. Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but, if necessary, it should be either a clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a non-clear bag no larger than 4.5" x 6.5." Strict size enforcement will be in place for all non-clear bags.

A full house is expected, and fans are encouraged to arrive early and plan accordingly for traffic. Fans should plan to be inside stadium gates at least one hour prior to kickoff.
