JACKSONVILLE – There was little mystery for the Jaguars Sunday morning.

Cornerback Shaq Griffin, the only active Jaguars player not practicing full Friday, on Sunday morning remained their only player ruled out for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons at TIAA Bank Field. He officially was declared inactive 90 minutes before kickoff.

Griffin sustained a concussion in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.

The Jaguars' other inactive players Sunday were linebacker Dakota Allen, offensive lineman KC McDermott, tight end Jacob Hollister, tight end Luke Farrell and defensive end/outside linebacker Jordan Smith.

Also: center Brandon Linder and tight end James O'Shaughnessy were activated from injured reserve/designated to return on Saturday. Linder had been out since sustaining a high-ankle/knee injury in a Week 5 loss to Tennessee and O'Shaughnessy had been out since sustaining a high-ankle sprain in a Week 2 loss to Denver.

The Jaguars also elevated wide receiver John Brown from the practice squad Saturday.
