JAGUARS SIGN MOSES REGULAR TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed linebacker Moses Regular to their practice squad.

Regular, 25, was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent on April 27 and spent the preseason with the team. A native of Kissimmee, Fla., he was all-conference at inside linebacker for four years at Missouri Valley College. He can also handle long-snapping duties.


ANDRE DAVIS HAS SURGERY

Jaguars defensive tackle Andre Davis underwent surgery to repair the dislocation fracture of his right ankle, which he suffered in Sunday's 28-25 overtime win in Baltimore. Davis, 21, was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday. He will be out for the remainder of the season but is expected to make a full recovery for next season.

The surgery was performed by the Jaguars' head team physician, Dr. Stephen Lucie, at Baptist Medical Center.
