JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars' athletic training staff has received the Ed Block Courage Award for PFATS Staff of the Year for their exemplary work during the 2025 season. The award is chosen by the members of the Professional Football Athletic Training Society (PFATS) to honor an athletic training staff that displays remarkable effort for contributions to their NFL Club, the NFL Community and the profession of athletic training.

"The work that Jeff and our athletic training staff do behind the scenes is invaluable. It allows our players to both feel and play their best and does not go unnoticed," said Executive Vice President of Football Operations Tony Boselli. "They play a vital role in our team's success, and this honor is well deserved."

The Jaguars' athletic training staff is comprised of Vice President of Player Health and Performance Jeff Ferguson; Director of Rehabilitation/Associate Athletic Trainer Robert Hoenshel; Athletic Performance Specialist/Associate Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist Peter Draovitch; Associate Athletic Trainer Devin Driscoll; Associate Athletic Trainer Cassie Ettel; and Associate Athletic Trainer Raul Bermudez. Ferguson was previously recognized by the PFATS in 2023 when he was given the Fain Cain Memorial Award for Outstanding NFL Athletic Trainer of the Year.

"To be selected by our NFL peers as Athletic Training Staff of the Year is a tremendous honor," said Ferguson. "We are grateful for the recognition which wouldn't be possible without our team's hard work, dedication and commitment to player health and performance."

The staff received the award at the annual Ed Block Courage Awards event in Baltimore, Md. This is the first time since 2003 that Jacksonville has received the honor.
