Roster Moves: Jaguars Extend WR Jakobi Meyers

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed WR Jakobi Meyers to a three-year contract extension, the team announced today.

Since being acquired at the NFL trade deadline in Week 10, Meyers has led the Jaguars in receptions (27), receiving yards (355) and first down receptions (21). In six games with Meyers, Jacksonville has averaged 33.3 points per game, the second-most in the NFL during that time.

Meyers originally entered the NFL in 2019 as an undrafted free agent with the New England Patriots, where he spent four seasons (2019-22) before joining the Las Vegas Raiders (2023-25) in free agency. His career totals include 453 receptions for 5,299 yards and 23 touchdowns in 104 games (80 starts). He also has totaled 15 carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns and completed six-of-seven passes for 100 yards and three touchdowns.

The Lithonia, Ga. native played collegiately at North Carolina State University from 2015-18 where he transitioned from quarterback to wide receiver. Meyers registered 168 receptions for 1,932 yards and nine touchdowns with the Wolfpack.
