Tell us about yourself and your connection to Jacksonville/the Jaguars:
I moved to Jacksonville, FL by way of Spartanburg, SC in 2010 for work. I never had a professional NFL team that I genuinely loved while growing up in Anderson, SC so when I moved here it was a no brainer. I became a season ticket member in 2013 because I felt like in the stadium is where I needed to be cheering on my team and repping the city. #DTWD
Do you have any gameday rituals?
My game day ritual is that I must listen to a song titled "Duval" by Flawda Water on the way to my tailgate after I have stopped by Publix to pick up 2 lbs of chicken tenders. I tailgate with friends and then I must be in my seat to hopefully see a flyover following the National Anthem.
What's your favorite part of gameday?
The favorite part of game day is tailgating with my friends because we do it pretty big, listening to the National Anthem, celebrating and cheering with all my peeps in section 213, and meeting at the Jaguar for a picture only if we get a win.
What is your favorite Jaguars moment?
My favorite Jaguars moment is definitely the miraculous comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers during the AFC Wild Card round of the 2022 season, erasing a 27-point deficit. It was awesome to watch the third-largest comeback in NFL playoff history.
What do you gain from attending a game instead of watching it on tv?
The thing that I feel like I gain the most from attending the game versus watching on tv is the connection to the team and the other crazy fans that love the Jaguars just as much if not more than me. I love when it is third or fourth down for our defense and the screens tell us to "GET UP AND GET LOUD"! There have been times when it has been electric inside this stadium.
What would you tell someone who is considering purchasing season tickets?
I would tell someone who is considering purchasing season tickets to simply do it! We are 1 of 26 cities in the United States that have an NFL team so I would tell them to take advantage of that. The last thing I would tell them is that we are about to be in a completely renovated stadium and how exciting it is to be a part of that.
What is on your Jaguars bucket list?
I have a few things on my bucket list when it comes to the Jaguars, but the Top 3 are going across the pond to watch them in London, give the game day "Duuuval", and to be present to watch them win a Super Bowl.
