Tell us about yourself and your connection to Jacksonville/the Jaguars:
I was a big Miami Dolphins fan in the 70s since they were the only team representing the state. Upon the inception of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I supported them both as my favorite of both conferences. When my Jaguars were born, they of course became my favorite because we now have a team to call our own and not an implant from another city.
Do you have any gameday rituals?
Tailgating and wearing a matching jersey color of the game.
What's your favorite part of gameday?
Watching Jaxson bungee jump pregame and being a former Marine, honoring the Veteran of the Game.
What is your favorite Jaguars moment?
There are actually three. Beating the Steelers in their stadium twice in one season in 2007 and again in 2017. Also, spotting the Chargers 27 points and then eventually beating them in the 2022 playoffs.
What do you gain from attending a game instead of watching it on tv?
Sharing the camaraderie with Jags fans and knowing that my support and cheering helped to motivate the team to victory. The ambiance of just being there is unmatchable watching on TV.
What would you tell someone who is considering purchasing season tickets?
Jump on them. With this management team and the on-field squad, the Jags aren't far from being a relevant force in the AFC playoff races. Grab that seat now, because they won't always be available. Plus, when we get our new stadium, you can say that a piece of it is yours!
What is on your Jaguars bucket list?
I've been to Miami several times to watch us play, and once to New Orleans. My desire is to visit the other 29 stadiums and eventually catch a game in London.
