JACKSONVILLE – – The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the following roster moves, the team announced today.
- Signed TE Jordan Akins to the practice squad
- Released TE Qadir Ismail from the practice squad
- Ruled LB Devin Lloyd (calf) and TE Quintin Morris (groin) out for Sunday's game against Los Angeles. Neither player will travel to London.
Akins was originally drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round (98th overall) of the 2018 draft. He spent five seasons with the Texans (2018-22) before joining the Cleveland Browns (2023-24). Akins has played 107 games (36 starts) and totaled 206 receptions for 2,277 yards (11.1 avg.) and 10 touchdowns. He has also appeared in two postseason games.
A native of Locust Grove, Ga., Akins played collegiately at the University of Central Florida (2014-17). He played 41 games for the Knights and produced 81 receptions for 1,149 yards (14.2 avg.) and eight touchdowns. Prior to his time at UCF, Akins spent four seasons in the Texas Rangers farm system after being drafted in the third round (103rd overall) of the 2010 MLB Draft.
