JACKSONVILLE – The theme remains expectedly the same.
This is the eighth 2026 jaguars.com mock draft tracker – and with the 2026 NFL Draft drawing nearer and nearer, analysts' view of the Jaguars' early approach remains very defensive with an eye on offensive skill.
Defensive line remains a popular projection for the Jaguars at No. 56 overall. So do linebacker and running back, with that selection – the 24th selection in Round 2 – currently the team's first in the April 23-25 '26 draft. The Jaguars do not have a Round 1 selection in the '26 draft, having traded it to the Cleveland Browns in the deal to move up to select wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Among the projections at No. 56 overall this week:
Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price, Florida defensive lineman Caleb Banks, Cincinnati linebacker Jake Golday, Southeastern Louisiana defensive lineman Kaleb Proctor and Oklahoma edge defender R Mason Thomas.
Here's a look at the Jaguars' 11 selections in the '26 draft:
Round 2 (No. 56 overall, original Jaguars selection), Round 3 (No. 81, acquired in a trade with the Detroit Lions), Round 3 (No. 88, Jaguars), Round 3 (No. 100, Detroit Lions special compensatory), Round 4 (No. 124, Jaguars), Round 5 (No. 164, Jaguars), Round 5 (No. 166, from San Francisco 49ers through Philadelphia Eagles), Round 6 (No. 203, Eagles through Houston Texans through Eagles), Round 7 (No. 233, Lions), Round 7 (No. 240, Jaguars), Round 7 (No. 245, Los Angeles Rams through Texans).

- Analyst: Alec Elijah, Pro Football Network. Date: April 11https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/nfl-mock-draft-2026-cowboys-trade-top-10/.
- Elijah comment: "Notre Dame's second running back expected to come off the board, Jadarian Price, brings an intriguing blend of upside and versatility to the next level.
