90 fans to receive autographed jersey from players in each stadium during preseason game; Jaguars invite 17-year season ticket owners to take part in special pregame field introduction
All 32 NFL teams will thank their fans for their continued support with a special preseason fan appreciation program. Each club will select 90 fans to receive an autographed jersey from players during one of its preseason games.
The Jaguars selected a group of fans at random from the team's database of 17-year season ticket owners to run through the tunnel and on to the field just before the players take the field prior to the team's first home preseason game at EverBank Field against the Atlanta Falcons on Friday, August 19th. Each of the fans selected to take part will receive an autographed jersey from a player.
"We have the greatest fans in the world," said NFL Commissioner ROGER GOODELL. "This is an opportunity to recognize the millions of fans for their dedication and passion for the NFL, its teams and players throughout the year."
The NFL worked with Reebok to create special team jerseys with the player numbers but with the nameplate left blank. The players will sign their numbered jersey for a fan.
