Second surgery for Boselli

Offensive tackle Tony Boselli underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder today, three weeks after having his right shoulder surgically repaired. The surgery was performed at Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute by Jaguars head team physician Dr. Carlos Tandron and Dr. William Pujadas.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars waived safety Delvin Brown and signed safety Renard Cox from the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. Cox, 5-11, 188, from Maryland, signed as an undrafted free agent with Arizona in 2000. He played for the Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe League last spring.

In other news, as of this afternoon about 2,500 tickets for this Sunday's game against Cincinnati had to be sold by 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon or the game will be blacked out in Jacksonville and its secondary television markets.

The injury report for Sunday's game lists safety Ainsley Battles (knee) as "out," running back Fred Taylor (groin), linebacker Edward Thomas (hamstring) and linebacker Joseph Tuipala (quadriceps) as "questionable," and quarterback Mark Brunell (quadriceps) and linebacker T.J. Slaughter (knee and ankle) as "probable."

The Bengals' injury report shows wide receivers Chad Johnson (clavicle) as "out," defensive tackle Tony Williams (foot) as "questionable," and cornerbacks Robert Bean (hamstring) and Tom Carter (knee) and linebacker Canute Curtis (knee) as "probable."
