The Jaguars' final road game of the 2014 NFL Preseason was a Week 3 matchup with the Detroit Lions. Cecil Shorts III and Dekoda Watson were making their preseason debuts. Rookies Blake Bortles and Allen Hurns continued to draw positive reviews from the media and fans.
