JACKSONVILLE – Quintin Morris is returning to Jacksonville.

Morris, a veteran tight end, has agreed to terms on a contract extension with the Jaguars. The team announced the agreement Thursday.

Morris, who signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent last offseason, caught six passes for 55 yards and a touchdown last season. He will enter his fifth NFL season next season.

Morris, who originally signed with the Buffalo Bills as a collegiate free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft, spent time on the Jaguars' practice squad last season and played in 14 games with five starts. He has 21 receptions for 201 yards and four touchdowns in five NFL seasons.

The Jaguars now have five tight ends on the roster: Brenton Strange, Hunter Long, Johnny Mundt, Morris and Patrick Herbert.
