JACKSONVILLE – He was the lone Pro Bowl selection on the roster last season.

He also set a franchise record for touchdown receptions and emerged as one of the league's best young receivers, so it stood to reason Allen Robinson would be high on any list of really good NFL players.

Reason played out Wednesday night as the Jaguars' third-year wide receiver was named to the NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2016. He made the list at No. 31.

Robinson, a second-round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft from Penn State University, caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. He has 128 receptions for 1,948 yards and 16 touchdown passes in two NFL seasons.

Robinson became the fifth Jaguars player named to this year's list, which is voted on by NFL players. Quarterback Blake Bortles made the list at No. 56 and linebacker Telvin Smith made the Top 100 at No. 83 last week. Wide receiver Allen Hurns made it at No. 89.

Running back Chris Ivory, a Pro Bowl selection for the New York Jets last season who signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent in March, made the list at No. 78.
