After a lockout that lasted more than four months, a draft, a frenzied, free agent signing period and 10 days of training camp, including a scrimmage, the Jaguars are getting ready to play football against another team again. *Florida Times-Union

This inspirational event genuinely moved me in such an emotional way to where I have hoped that there are more athletes like Brad Meester who&39;ll be the standard of the sports role model. This new-found hope has open my jaded heart to believing that there still some good people within many sports organizations.I have Brad Meester and Luke Akerstrom to thank for that as they truly accomplished something special.  *Bleacher Report

The Jaguars made 51 roster transactions in a five-day period from July 27-31. 

* Schedule*

Players return to the Florida Blue Health & Wellness Practice Fields this morning.  The team will also practice tonight at 7:00 p.m.  All practices are closed to the public. 

* The last word*

 "It just means Luke (McCown) and I had more reps. We were in there for a longer period of time and we had to play football, but it was a good thing for us getting more repetitions in practice but David will be back soon. His back's doing all right."
