"The Jaguars lost to the Bills, 35-32, in overtime in the third preseason game for both teams. It was the first preseason overtime game in the NFL since 2008, when Seattle beat Chicago." The Times-Union

Tough start, tough finish for the Jaguars.

"Saturday's game reinforced that, and while an important part of Saturday's game wasn't what the Jaguars wanted to see, the Jaguars afterward talked extensively of liking what they saw late in the second quarter and early in the third. They weren't thrilled with a lot of the performance, but they remained convinced they are more the team from the middle of the game than the beginning and the end."

Mike Freeman of thinks the end is near for the Peyton Manning era.

"In fact, if Newton demonstrated anything in three quarters of a 24-13 loss to Cincinnati, it&39;s that he&39;s not ready for prime time. He should sit, and he should sit until he understands what he&39;s doing and what he sees -- because that&39;s not happening now."

The last word

"You know what, that's why the fans here are so great, if you're one of them, they cheer for you, if you're not, you're not.  That's why in my four years here they were great fans, but it was different being on the opposite end of that.  I was surprised I thought it was going to come faster, when I was coming out of the tunnel everyone was cheering and saying hello.   I thought I was going to get booed more quickly than that, so it worked out okay."
