"You know, stuff happens in the game," Jaguars linebacker Daryl Smith said. "Picks, fumbles, people get banged up, whatever. You just gotta have the mentality like whatever happens, you gotta keep pushing. We kept going, and at the end of the day, Jets win. They made more plays than we did."  The Times-Union

The last word

"One guy doesn't win or lose the game.  We have to do a better job of going up and getting the passes he was throwing.  It was a team effort.  As an offense, we didn't do our part.  We lost this game as an offense.  We have to correct it, and that's what we will do.  We played a good defense.  They executed a little better than we did."
