Congratulations to our Week 6 Florida Blue Community Champion, Cindy Springer! Cindy serves as the local Director of Development for the American Lung Association, an organization dedicated to saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung diseases. In 2023, she volunteered for a lung health study and was diagnosed with Stage 1 lung cancer. Since 2019, she has taken on the role of President and CEO of Feeding Northeast Florida, a nonprofit powerhouse dedicated to eradicating hunger in Northeast Florida. As a founding board member in 2014, Susan has played a pivotal role in leading Feeding Northeast Florida, the primary food bank serving 12 counties in the region. Congratulations to our third Florida Blue Community Champion, Darryl Crawford! Since joining the Red Cross as a volunteer in 2023, Darryl has stepped up during five major natural disasters, including wildfires, hurricanes, and local storms in North Florida. The American Red Cross North and Central Florida Region is dedicated to serving approximately 10.5 million residents across 49 counties.

Congratulations to our second Florida Blue Community Champion, Betty Burney! A Jacksonville native, Betty served twice as both Chair and Vice Chair of the Duval County School Board, greatly influencing local education. In 2010, she founded the I'm A Star Foundation to empower the next generation of leaders through service-learning projects addressing childhood health, food access, and student homelessness.

Meet London Jenkins, Jacksonville native, 2024 Jaguars PREP Player of the Year, Fleming Island High School graduate, Florida Gateway College flag football athlete and now a member of Team USA Football!

U.S. Women's National team athlete and Jacksonville native, London Jenkins, hosted an elite skills position camp for over 225 female flag football players. Participants competed in drills, games and for MVP. Jaguars LB Foye Oluokun made a special appearance to show his support!

Special Olympics Florida athletes joined the Jaguars and Ticketmaster at the Miller Electric Center to experience being a true Jacksonville Jaguar for the day. From signing contracts, practice with the rookies, free jerseys, and a pep talk from Jaguars General Manager James Gladstone it was a legendary afternoon of fun with their new teammates.

The Jaguars Nike Girls Summer Tournament saw 16 teams compete for the championship. SE Bulloch High School won the tug of war competition and Choctaw High School won the whole tournament!
