Where are you from?

  • I'm originally from Savannah, Georgia though I've lived in Florida for most of my life.

What was your journey getting to your role?

  • After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021, I had the amazing opportunity to join the team as a graphic design intern. As a student, I wasn't aware of design that goes on behind the scenes, such as mock-ups for proposals. I quickly found that I loved this type of work and how it's another important part of what makes the organization work. I've been on the team for almost two years now as a junior graphic designer and every day I look forward to what new things I'll get to work on.

What elements of who you are get incorporated into the content you create?

  • I've always been a visual person— I'm better at expressing myself through images rather than words. I try to apply that to any art I work on as well. I think if I can make something eye-catching or a conversation starter, I'm proud of it.

Who inspired you?

  • I'm inspired by many different artists, especially musicians. Much of my work comes from listening to music and trying to visually capture the feeling from it.

Advice to aspiring Black creatives?

  • My advice would be to maintain a good work-life balance. I think there can be a lot of pressure to always give 110% but it's important to go easy on yourself when needed. This advice would have helped me a lot as a student since I would often suffer from burnout.

Favorite part of working on your team or with the Jaguars?

  • My favorite part of working on my team is that I always feel like I'm growing and improving as an artist. There are many collaborative elements to our work so having a network of supportive and knowledgeable people is helpful.

Favorite memory or moment with Jaguars?

  • My favorite moment working with the team has to be when we won our Wild Card game against the Chargers. Being on the field to witness the celebration of the fans and players was amazing and going back into the office to see my team ecstatic and joyful was a great experience. After a long season of such hard work, that victory meant the world to everyone who'd been putting in so much time and effort behind the scenes.
