Jaguars Elite Athletes Dominating the Flag Football Ecosystem

JAGUARS ELITE STORY

The Jacksonville Jaguars are proud to welcome eight teams and over 100 female athletes to the 2025-26 Jaguars Elite flag travel team program.

Flag football is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation, and the Jaguars are committed to providing athletes with the opportunity to compete at the highest level. As part of the Jaguars PREP initiative of the Jaguars Foundation, Jaguars Elite athletes are carefully selected and hail from across 38 counties to represent the Jaguars locally and nationally. The goal of this program is to provide young athletes with opportunities to develop and succeed on and off the field.

"The Jaguars are proud to welcome this group of stellar athletes to this upcoming season's travel program," said Adriel Rocha, Jaguars vice president of community impact and youth football development. "We strive to provide opportunities and experiences unlike any other for these girls, giving them the opportunity to develop as athletes and leaders."

Our Jaguars Elite teams have been competing locally and nationally, winning titles and championships across the country. As they enter the third season the Jaguars invited all eight girl's teams to EverBank Stadium to unveil their new uniforms, receive new gear and sign contracts to become official members of this elite travel program.

The Jaguars Elite athletes had opportunities for recognition and exposure leading into and throughout Play Football Month:

  • To celebrate Back Together Sunday on July 27, the Jaguars invited Jaguars Elite teams to training camp to welcome the players as they entered the field for practice and receive autographs from the rookie class.
  • Later that week, each Jaguars Elite team and athlete joined the Jaguars at EverBank Stadium to kick off a new season. The athletes signed contracts welcoming them to the travel program; received new uniforms, Jaguars gear and swag; and experienced exclusive photo opportunities.
  • Following the 8U Jaguars Elite team's gold medal winning performance at the AAU Junior Olympics Games in Houston, the team was chosen to participate in the Jaguars' helmet hike at the 2025 Stadium Scrimmage on Aug. 1.
  • The Jaguars also partnered with Academy Sports + Outdoors to surprise 25 Jaguars Elite athletes with a $200 shopping spree to get new gear and equipment for their upcoming seasons. Jaguars Legends Greg Jones and Jordan Toddman, Jaxson de Ville and THE ROAR helped them pick out their swag.
  • On Aug. 9, the 12U Jaguars Elite and local 12U Fusion girls flag team competed in a scrimmage under the lights at the Jaguars' only home preseason game against the Steelers during halftime. Jaguars mascot Jaxson de Ville served as the celebrity referee.
