TAMPA – Trevor Lawrence is playing.
Lawrence, the Jaguars' starting quarterback, was not among the inactive players announced an hour and a half before kickoff of their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium Sunday. He has started the first 48 games of his NFL career.
Lawrence sustained a concussion against the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday and did not practice Wednesday or Thursday while in concussion protocol. He practiced limited Friday under protocol, then flew to Tampa with the team Saturday.
Head Coach Doug Pederson had said Friday Lawrence would not travel with the team unless he cleared protocol.
Also: Cornerback Tyson Campbell (quadricep) and safety Andre Cisco (groin) will play after missing the Ravens game. Both practiced limited this week and were listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week Friday.
