The Jacksonville Jaguars signed first-year wide receiver Jeremy Ebert off the club's practice squad to the 53-man roster, the club announced today.  Second-year guard Jacques McClendon was waived.

Ebert was on the 53-man roster for last Sunday's game at Oakland and had a five-yard reception before he was waived on Sept. 16. He spent the preseason with the Jaguars where he had five catches for 46 yards and one touchdown.  He was a seventh-round draft pick of New England in 2012 and spent time on the Patriots' practice squad.  He played in 49 games with 32 starts at Northwestern where he finished with 173 career receptions for 2,400 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Ebert wears jersey number 80.
