LONDON - Correspondent John Shipley examines five key plays from the Jaguars’ 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in a 2026 Week 5 game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, United Kingdom, Sunday

.Little, Abdullah shift the tide. The Jaguars' special teams made the difference Sunday, which is impressive considering long-snapper Ross Matiscik sustained a game-ending shoulder injury in the first quarter. A remarkable game-winning sequence by the Jaguars' special teams began a play after kicker Jake Elliott's 48-yard field goal gave the Eagles a 17-16 lead with :08 remaining, with Jaguars veteran running back/kick returner Ameer Abdullah returning the kickoff 53 yards to the Eagles' 39-yard line. "Credit to that guy," kicker Cam Little said of Abdullah. "Unbelievable moment for him, unbelievable play at the time it was." Abdullah made sure to go down with :01 remaining. "We practice things like that," said Abdullah, who said he counted time in his head during the return to ensure time remained for field-goal attempt by Little. "I'm just glad we were able to execute in the moment, situationally." Little followed that with a 57-yard walk-off game-winning field goal, with punter/holder Logan Cooke catching a high-snap from backup snapper DaVon Hamilton and placing the ball for Little. "Snap goes up, Logan puts it down, and then arguably one of the most talented guys in the league comes up with a clutch kick in a clutch moment," Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen said afterward.

.Washington's house call. The Jaguars have routinely taken advantage of turnovers this season, doing so again Sunday when the Eagles turned the ball over on downs in the first quarter. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence first passed to wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter for a first down. Lawrence then threw short to wide receiver wide receiver Parker Washington off play-action, with Washington turning the play into a 51-yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead. "That was wild," Coen said. "It felt kind of too easy. He was rolling. It was a fast track, fast surface out there. He's a threat to do something with it every time he touches the ball, and he made some critical plays in critical moments for us." Washington on the play wove through the secondary while forcing missed tackles, getting a big block from wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. "We consider him an elite wide receiver," Lawrence said of Washington. "I don't know what everybody else thinks, but we feel like he is pretty freaking good. What is important is what we believe on our team and the faith and trust I have in him, that our whole team has in him."

.Washington's house call, No. 2. Washington has produced big play after big play for the Jaguars since being drafted in 2023, particularly since moving into the starting lineup midway through last season. He may have made the most impressive -- and important – play of his career on Sunday, and it wasn't the 51-yard touchdown. On fourth-and-5 from the Eagles 27 with 3:26 remaining, Washington – matched up with talented cornerback Tariq Woolen – made an excellent adjustment to make a one-handed catch in the end zone on a pass from Lawrence for a 16-14 lead. "It's a big-time moment and big-time play," said Washington, who caught six passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns Sunday. "We needed a play right there. First, I was looking in the air. I was like, 'Where is the football?' I'm like, 'I know I'm supposed to be getting it (laughter).'  As soon as I saw it, I was like, 'OK, there we go.' Just being able to make that play, that's what it's all about. That's what the offseason is for. That's what all the training, that's what the training camps, OTAs, that's what it's all about. So, just making that play and being a guy that your team leans on in a big-time moment, that was special for me."

.Big Ham. The Jaguars' run defense repeatedly has come up big in 2026, and it showed up again early in Sunday on a critical fourth down. With the Eagles facing fourth-and-1 from the Jaguars' 37-yard line, nose tackle DaVon Hamilton stopped running back Will Shipley at the line of scrimmage with a "virtual measurement" showing Hamilton stopped Shipley three inches short of the first down. Washington's 51-yard touchdown reception came three plays later.

.Hunter's lockdown play. Hunter, the No. 2 overall selection by the Jaguars in the 2025 NFL Draft, has made some impact plays at cornerbacks in recent weeks and he made another one Sunday. With the Eagles' offense driving past midfield midway through the third quarter, the Eagles opted to go for a first down on fourth-and-3 from the Jaguars' 43-yard line. Hurts passed to wide receiver Makai Lemon, with Hunter breaking up the play to prevent a first down and get the Jaguars the ball without allowing a score.
