In and out: Johnson, Lacy out


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Jaguars inactives held few surprises Sunday.

Cornerback Antonio Johnson and defensive lineman Tyler Lacy were among six players made inactive for the Jaguars an hour and half before kickoff of their 2023 Week 1 game against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind., Sunday.

The two rookies had been ruled out Friday, Johnson with a hamstring injury and Lacy with a hip injury.

The Jaguars four other inactive players against the Colts:

  • Rookie wide receiver Parker Washington
  • Rookie wide receiver Elijah Cooks
  • Rookie cornerback Christian Braswell
  • Running back JaMycal Hasty
