Jaguars Make Cuts to 75

The Jacksonville Jaguars today waived four rookies and placed rookie cornerback Don Carey on injured reserve. The Jaguars' roster now stands at the league-mandated 75 player limit, and the team will cut the roster to 53 players on Saturday, September 5.

The following players were waived: tight end Tyler Lorenzen, defensive tackle Jervonte Jackson and wide receivers Clarence Denmark and Maurice Dupree.

Carey was claimed off waivers by the Jaguars on August 6. He was originally selected in the sixth round of this year's draft by Cleveland, the 177th selection overall.
