The Jacksonville Jaguars made two roster moves today, signing second-year linebacker Kenneth Pettway to the practice squad and releasing defensive back David Richardson.
Pettway, a 6-4, 238-pounder from Grambling State, was selected in the seventh round of the 2005 draft by the Houston Texans. The 23-year-old Gilmer, Texas native spent most of the 2005 season on the Texans practice squad before being activated for the last four regular season games. He was waived by the Texans on Sept. 1 in final cuts.
Richardson, a third-year player out of Cal Poly, was re-signed to the Jaguars practice squad September 26. Richardson appeared in nine games and registered four tackles in three seasons with the Jaguars.
