Jaguars Mobile launched

The Jacksonville Jaguars have teamed up with Fountain Mobile for the design and launch of Jaguars Mobile™. Fans of the Jaguars now have access to content and promotions through their mobile phone across most major US mobile carriers. Jaguars Mobile™ makes existing Jaguars content more accessible and offers new content not previously available through existing media channels.

Services include team and player statistics, game scores, league updates, standings, injury reports and breaking news. Exciting new, previously unavailable services include a Super Bowl trivia sweepstakes, contests, ringtones, wallpapers, and unique editorial. Through the remainder of 2005 Jaguars Mobile will deliver content in text and multimedia formats. Streaming audio and video is planned for 2006.

"This is a fun new offering that we're glad to provide for Jaguars fans everywhere," said Bruce Swindell, Jaguars executive director of information technology. "The popularity of features like these continues to grow, and we want to help fans build their connection with the team."

Jaguars Mobile is one of the first broad mobile services program with an NFL franchise.

"We are very excited that fans of the Jaguars are able to stay connected to the Jaguars wherever and whenever they want," said Peter Tilles, Managing Director of Fountain Mobile. Fountain Mobile successfully planned, designed and launched the program in less than eight weeks.

Jaguars Mobile enables the Jaguars to provide an enhanced fan experience covering seven days a week and 365 days a year, and a valuable new communications and promotions channel for team sponsors. Supporting the launch of Jaguars Mobile™ is an extensive integrated communications plan that includes radio spots, web banners, e-mails, cable TV spots, print ads and in-stadium signage.
