Jaguars, Pepsi-Cola Sign Multi-Year Sponsorship

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Pepsi-Cola North America have agreed to a multi-year sponsorship. The sponsorship includes all traditional sponsor and pouring rights inventories, such as signage, Jaguars media and experience. In addition, Pepsi will sponsor the PepsiCo Plaza, a pre-game tailgating area for fans at ALLTEL Stadium that will feature game day entertainment and interactive elements.

"We are excited about our new partnership with Pepsi," said Jaguars chairman and CEO Wayne Weaver. "The league obviously saw great value in a Pepsi partnership, and the Jaguars see great value as well. Pepsi's interest in being involved in unique stadium elements played a major role in our decision to change soft drink partners. This represents a major move for us, as Coca-Cola has been a great partner since day one. But we believe Pepsi-Cola and their family of brands, which includes Tropicana, Frito-Lay and all of the Quaker Oats products, will offer more to the Jaguars and our fans. We look forward to a great relationship with Pepsi."

"The Jaguars have brought an enormous level of excitement to Jacksonville since they began play in 1995, and with the Super Bowl coming in 2005, the best is yet to come," said Dawn Hudson, president, Pepsi-Cola North America. "We're looking forward to working with the Jaguars to give their fans even more to cheer about."
