The 20th anniversary of Jacksonville landing the 30th National Football League franchise is rapidly approaching and the Jaguars are encouraging fans to share their memories of that day on Nov. 30, 1993.
Fans can submit their photos and stories to detail their memories of the day the Jaguars were born, as well as their best memories from the franchise's first 20 years. The top submissions will be used to create a photo gallery and a story on jaguars.com, both of which will then be promoted via the team's various social media outlets.
"The Jaguars' 20th anniversary is a milestone for this franchise, and we're interested in our fans' memories of where they were, what they were doing, and what their reaction was when Jacksonville was awarded the team," said Jaguars SVP Communications Dan Edwards. "This is an opportunity for fans to share their own stories with other fans."
