Jalen Ramsey - Sunday, September 30, 2018

(On if the defense felt dominant today) "Yeah, we've got some stuff to correct, but we got a good win. That's really what matters."

(On if the defense could play better) "Yeah, it's exactly what you just said."

(On Sam Darnold) "It was about us out there. Things we allowed them to get and that was it."

(On if he was impressed with Darnold's poise) "It was about us out there."

(On his dropped interception) "Very frustrating. Very frustrating. We'll correct it, though."

(On missed tackles against Quincy Enunwa) "It's about us out there, not about what anybody else does."

(On being 3-1 after the first quarter of the season) "I said I'm happy that we got the win, but I'm not going to sit here and act all happy go lucky. We've got to play better. We know we can play better. We've got a tough opponent next week, best offense in the NFL probably. We know we've got stuff to correct, so I'm not going to get too high right now. I'm happy that we got the win, for sure."

(On how much the game was won in practice this week) "I don't know if that really factors into it. I caught a lot of picks in practice this week, but I dropped one out there today, you know what I'm saying? Practice prepares you for the game, but I don't think practicing inside or outside.. if that correlated to the game or not. Maybe? I don't know."

(On Blake Bortles' performance today) "Blake did really well, once again. I kind of predicted it. I predicted that he was going to have a bounce-back game, the offense was going to have a bounce-back game and do really well. He did his thing out there; very proud."

(On how the offense responded after Leonard Fournette's injury) "Yeah, that's what we're paid to do. That's what those guys on offense are paid to do. We've got to trust in them and they trust in each other to next man up and come in there and do what they can do."

(On what it says about the team being 3-1 and not playing their best football) "Of course we would like to be 4-0, but we're in a good position right now. I believe we're in a good position. Like I said earlier, we have a lot to correct. We know we have a lot to correct, so going into this next game against what a lot of people believe is the best offense in the NFL right now, we've got to correct those things quickly."

(On if the Chiefs have to play the best defense in the NFL next week) "Yeah, for sure."

(On if the defense is playing consistently) "I can't even say that. We've got to watch the film and see where those mistakes are, and if they're repeat mistakes or if they're new mistakes that we have to clean up. I can't really tell you until I watch the film."

(On if the defense's performance today is a step in the right direction to getting turnovers) "Yeah, I think it's a step in the right direction. Throughout the first three weeks we weren't getting a lot of opportunities. We weren't getting chances to get our hands on the ball. This week, we had those opportunities, but we have to capitalize way better."

(On how good it was to see the offense play well today) "I was super proud of them. The whole defense was super proud of them. We knew that they were going to bounce back from last week not scoring any touchdowns and not really having the best game they could have. They trusted in each other, they trusted in the game plan and they went out there and did some great things."

(On how frustrating his dropped interception was) "Yeah, it was very frustrating."
