16X9-COOKE-EXTENDED

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed P Logan Cooke to a four-year contract extension, the team announced today.

Cooke was originally drafted in the seventh round (247th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft and has appeared in 112 games for the Jaguars, the most games played by a punter in franchise history. He has punted 468 times for a 43.5 net punting average, the highest career mark in the NFL since the statistic began being tracked in 1976. His 47.4 career gross punting average is the highest in franchise history and the sixth best in the NFL since 1939. Cooke has placed 41.8 percent of his punts inside the 20-yard line, the highest mark by any punter in team history. Since entering the NFL in 2018, he has placed 196 punts inside the 20, the third most in the NFL in that span.

Cooke earned an invitation to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games and was named Second-Team All-Pro by the Associated Press following a 2024 campaign where he punted 68 times and established single-season career-highs with a 49.4 gross putting average and 44.8 net punting average. His 44.8 net average was the second highest in the NFL last season. He also pinned 34 of his 68 punts (50 percent) inside the 20, which tied for the fourth most in the NFL in 2024.

A Darbun, Miss., native, Cooke attended Mississippi State, where he appeared in 45 career games and averaged 41.7 yards per punt in four seasons
