JACKSONVILLE â Devin Lloyd is Pro Bowl bound.
Lloyd, whose knack for forcing takeaways keyed multiple critical victories for the 2025 AFC South champion Jaguars, on Thursday morning officially was named to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games. It will be the fourth-year linebacker's first Pro Bowl appearance.
Lloyd was named as an injury replacement for Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt.
Lloyd, the No. 27 overall selection by the Jaguars in the 2022 NFL Draft, early this month was named a second-team Associated Press All-Pro selection.
Lloyd, the AFC's Defensive Player of the Month for September 2025, started 15 games in 2025. He registered 74 tackles during the 2025 regular season with 10 quarterback hits, seven passes defensed, six tackles for loss, five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery â as well as seven special teams tackles.
Lloyd's five interceptions and six takeaways tied for the second and third in the NFL, respectively. He became the second player in the last 20 seasons with at least 10 quarterback hits and five interceptions in a season â and the first since linebacker Lavonte David in 2013.
Lloyd's 99-yard third-quarter interception return for a touchdown off quarterback Patrick Mahomes was a key play in the Jaguars' 31-28 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. He also registered interceptions in victories over the San Francisco 49ers (two, Week 4) and Indianapolis Colts (Week 14).
His return against Kansas City Football was the longest in franchise history and the longest regular season return by an NFL linebacker since 1941. He was the AFC Defensive Player of the Week following Week 4.
Lloyd is the second Jaguars player named to the Pro Bowl for 2025, with long snapper Ross Matiscik named to a third consecutive Pro Bowl.
The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will be held February 3 at Moscone Center in San Francisco in the week leading to Super Bowl LX.
