JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars stayed on the edge as evening approached.

That meant addressing pass rush again, selecting an edge defender for the second time in three rounds late in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Zach Durfee, an edge defender from the University of Washington, on Saturday was selected by the Jaguars No. 233 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft – the 17th selection of Round 7.

Durfee (6-feet-5, 256 pounds) played 2024-2025 at Washington. He registered 6.5 career sacks with 8.5 tackles for loss, including four sacks and five tackles for loss in 2025.

Durfee became the fourth player from Washington selected by the Jaguars in the NFL Draft, the first since offensive tackle Khalif Barnes (Round 2) in 2005.

The Jaguars have one selection remaining in the '26 draft: No. 240 overall (Round 7).

The Jaguars earlier in the draft selected Texas A&M tight end Nate Boerkircher (No. 56 overall, Round 2), Texas A&M defensive tackle Albert Regis (No. 81 overall, Round 3), Oregon guard Emmanuel Pregnon (No. 88 overall, Round 3), Maryland safety Jalen Huskey (No. 100 overall, Round 3), Duke edge Wesley Williams (No. 119 overall, Round 4), Houston tight end Tanner Koziol (No. 164 overall, Round 5), Baylor wide receiver Josh Cameron (No. 191 overall, Round 6) and Stanford wide receiver CJ Williams (No. 203 overall, Round 6).

The Jaguars did not have a selection in Thursday's Round 1, having traded the selection to move up and select wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter No. 2 overall (Round 1) in the 2025 NFL Draft.
