The Jacksonville Jaguars today waived first-year free agent safety Ray Perryman, who had been re-signed by the Jaguars on January 25.
Perryman, 26, was originally signed by the Jaguars on Oct. 30, 2003 and spent four weeks on the practice squad before seeing action in the final four games. The 5-11, 195-pound safety played in four games in 2004 recording one special teams tackle before being waived on Oct. 13, 2004. Perryman was originally a fifth round pick (158th overall selection) by Oakland in the 2001 NFL draft.
