NFL Refund Policy Information
Canceled Games / Games Played Without Spectators
While we anticipate and are planning for a complete 2020 NFL season as scheduled, if a game is canceled and not replayed, or is played under conditions that prohibit fans from attending, the following refund policies will apply:
- For tickets purchased directly from the Clubs (i.e., Season Tickets, Groups Sales and/or Partial Season Plans), an NFL league-wide refund policy will apply, providing such buyers the option of a full refund of their ticket purchase price (plus associated fees) or to apply the applicable amount to a future purchase through the Club.
- For single game tickets purchased through other NFL Licensed Channels (i.e., Ticketmaster, SeatGeek or StubHub) those markets have communicated the following refund policies for canceled games:
Ø Ticketmaster: Automatic refunds provided for all primary and secondary sales within 30 days of cancellation
Ø SeatGeek: Refunds provided upon request for all primary and secondary sales within 30 days of cancellation (for secondary sales, vouchers initially offered unless consumer requests a refund)
Ø StubHub: No refunds unless required by law. Credit issued worth 120% of original order. Credit expires in 2022 and can be used on any future StubHub purchase. Ticket Buyer must call StubHub directly to request refund.
* Postponed, Rescheduled or Relocated Game Information*
`1. Postponed Games: Once a game is postponed (i.e., at the end of the 30-day period if no revised date/time has been announced) clubs must offer ticketholders who purchased their tickets from the club a full cash refund (ticket price and associated fees) within the following 30 days, along with any other refund options (e.g., credit).
Ø A game is classified as "postponed" if an announcement is made that the game will not take place at its previously scheduled date/time, and a revised date/time IS NOT announced within thirty (30) days of such announcement.
2. Rescheduled Games: Existing tickets may remain valid and clubs are not required to offer ticket holders the option of a cash refund. (Clubs may still elect to offer a cash refund for customer relations or other purposes.)
Ø A game is classified as "rescheduled" if an announcement is made that the game will not take place at its previously scheduled date/time and a revised date/time IS announced within thirty (30) days of such announcement.
3. Relocated Games: Clubs must offer ticketholders who purchased their tickets from the club a full cash refund (ticket price and associated fees) within 30 days following a game's relocation, along with any other refund options (e.g., credit).
Ø A game is classified as "relocated" if it is moved to a location other than the venue for which tickets were sold.
