HUNTINGTON BACK ON JAGUARS ROSTER

Offensive lineman Greg Huntington signed a free agent contract with the team today and returned to the 53-man active roster. Huntington, 26, was waived by the Jaguars on August 25 of this year and re-signed on Oct. 1. He was on the active roster for two games - Oct. 6 vs. New Orleans and Oct. 13 vs. the New York Jets - until being waived on Oct. 15.

Huntington spent the first 12 weeks of the 1995 season with the Jaguars, playing in four games. He was inactive for seven others, and was waived on Nov. 21. On Dec. 26 Huntington re-signed with the Jaguars for 1996. The 6-4, 302-pound former Penn State player originally joined the Jaguars on Dec. 15, 1994 as one of the team's Original ten players. Defensive end Ernie Logan and running back Randy Jordan are the only others remaining from the Original Ten.

Huntington takes the roster spot left open on Monday when wide receiver Andre Rison was released. His addition to the offensive line follows injuries last Sunday to guard Rich Tylski (neck burner) and center Michael Cheever (concussion).

SPORTS EDITORS/SPORTS DIRECTORS NOTE: Telephone conference calls with Baltimore Ravens head coach Ted Marchibroda and running back Bam Morris will take place on Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. and 12:00 noon, respectively, in the Jaguars press room.
