In and out: Luton, five others inactive

inactives

The Jaguars' inactives Sunday held few surprises.

Jake Luton, who started three games at quarterback for the Jaguars in November, was among six players made inactive by the team 90 minutes before the team's game against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., Sunday.

Luton, a rookie sixth-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, backed up Mike Glennon in a loss to Cleveland last week. Gardner Minshew II, the Jaguars' starting quarterback in Games 1-7, will backup Glennon Sunday.

The Jaguars' other five inactives against Minnesota: cornerback Sidney Jones IV (Achilles), linebacker Dakota Allen (ankle), linebacker Kamalei Correa (hamstring), tight end Tyler Davis and defensive end Reggie Gilbert.

Joe Giles-Harris is expected to start at strongside linebacker for Correa, with rookie Luq Barcoo starting at corner for Jones and veteran Greg Mabin also expected to play at corner.
