Jaguars and Cox Broadcasting Renew Radio Contract

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Cox Broadcasting have agreed to renewal terms for the radio broadcast rights of official Jaguars broadcasting, including all Jaguars games, the pre- and postgame shows, "The Monday Evening Quarterback," "Jaguars This Week" on Wednesdays, "The Tom Coughlin Show" on Thursday, and daily reports during the NFL season.

The three-year contract will run through the 2003 season. WOKV will continue to be the flagship

station of the Jaguars Radio Network, WKQL Cool 96.9 FM will continue as the FM home of the Jaguars, and WBWL will be the play-by-play home of the Jaguars. All three stations will continue to carry the live triplecast of Jaguars game coverage.

"We are extremely pleased with the relationship with Dick Williams and his team at Cox Broadcasting, which has carried Jaguars games for all six years of the franchise, and we know that the next three years will be even stronger for our fans and all partners" said Dan Connell, Jaguars senior vice president of marketing.

"We are delighted to continue the long relationship our stations have had with the Jaguars," said Dick Williams, vice president/market manager for Cox Broadcasting. "We look forward to many more years with the team, and much more success."
