Clear Channel Communications and its local affiliate, WAWS Channel 30, have guaranteed that Sunday's game between the Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals will be televised in the Jacksonville area.
The game had to be sold out by 1:00 p.m. today to avoid being blacked out according to NFL guidelines. It will be televised regionally on FOX and locally on WAWS Channel 30.
"As a service to our viewers, our listeners, and area Jaguars fans, we are pleased to take this step to insure that the Jaguars' last home game will be televised here," said Susan Adams Loyd, general manager of FOX 30.
The Clear Channel Jacksonville family is comprised of WAWS FOX 30, WTEV UPN 47, Eller Media, and seven owned and operated radio stations, including WSKS, WJBT, WNZS, WPLA, WQIK, WROO and WSOL.
Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Jaguars Ticket Office, by visiting the Internet at www.jaguars.com , or by calling the 24-hour touch-tone telephone ticketing system at 1-888-397-0100. Single-game ticket prices are $40, $50, $65 and $90 per ticket.
Former Jaguar Jeff Lageman will do analysis of the game, with play-by-play partner Thom Brennaman.
