JACKSONVILLE – Head Coach Liam Coen watched the Jaguars work hard this week. Now, it is about putting it together.

The Jaguars placed a heavy emphasis on a strong week of practice this week at the Miller Electric Center, with a looming Week 3 battle against the defending AFC Champion Sunday.

Coen got the response he wanted.

"I think there were definitely some intentional improvements," Coen said Friday as the AFC South-leading Jaguars (1-1) prepared to play the New England Patriots (1-1) at EverBank Stadium Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Jaguars have won five consecutive regular-season home games dating to November 16, 2025. During that stretch, Jacksonville has set multiple franchise records for any five-game home span in team history such as points scored (192), point differential (plus 132) and total touchdowns (24).

For the Jaguars to keep the good times in Duval, it will take a concentrated effort from the entire roster and coaching staff ahead of the game's official kickoff.

"As you continue to go in the game planning, it's reminding the guys that we have seen every single route, concept, play another team can run," Coen said. "We have seen all throughout this spring; we have seen all throughout training camp against each other.

"And so to not overanalyze things that, yes, it's preparation and different teams do different things different ways, but at the end of the day, it's about the fundamentals and techniques and tackling and communication and being at the right spot and knowing your stuff."

Jacksonville's focus is inward at this time of the season, with the Jaguars knowing that – above all else – it is what they do that determines wins and losses.

"Not as much always worrying about the opponent," Coen said. "That's been a kind of a reminder that I think has helped reset us a little bit this week in all three phases. It is so much more about us. It truly is."

Jaguars rookie defensive tackle Albert Regis was added to Friday's final injury report of the week with an elbow injury and was listed as doubtful for Sunday. Six players – running back LeQuint Allen Jr. (hip), wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (thumb), right tackle Cole Van Lanen (knee), center Robert Hainsey (elbow/groin), nose tackle DaVon Hamilton (back) and cornerback Christian Braswell (knee) – were listed without status and are therefore expected to be available to play Sunday.
