Jaguars Host Atlanta in Preseason Opener Tomorrow; Security Measures, Pat-Downs at All Jaguars Home

The Jaguars will host the Atlanta Falcons tomorrow in the team's preseason opener at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised live in Jacksonville on WTEV CBS 47, and on the Jaguars Radio Network on WOKV AM & FM (690, 106.5).

Paul Burmeister will handle the play by play and Tony Boselli will serve as the color analyst for the telecast for the second consecutive season. For the sixth straight season together, Brian Sexton and Jeff Lageman will call the game on the Jaguars Radio Network.

The Suddath Pregame Show will begin at 6:30 p.m. on WOKV AM & FM (690, 106.5) and the Jaguars Radio Network. The Coggin Pregame Show, hosted by Brent Martineau, will air at 7:00 p.m. on WTEV CBS 47.

The Jaguars Ticket Office, located between Gates 2 and 3, will open at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow through halftime of the game.

For fans traveling to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, Bay Street will be re-opened for access on Saturday.

Fans are also reminded that a modified security pat-down will again be conducted at all entry gates at Jaguars home games. This will be a quick process, but all fans are strongly encouraged to make plans to arrive at the stadium a little early because of this security measure.

Other security measures are no different than they have been for the Jaguars' last three seasons. Purses or bags no larger than 12x12x12 inches are allowed, but they will be subject to inspection. All objects and purses will be subject to visual and physical inspection prior to entry into the stadium. Prohibited items include the following:

  • Umbrellas
  • Laser pointers
  • Pets (except special service animals)
  • Infant carriers/strollers
  • Sticks or poles
  • Video equipment and tape recorders
  • Coolers or containers, including cans, cups and bottles
  • Noise makers, whistles or air horns
  • Knives, guns and any type of weapons or explosives
  • Seat cushions
  • Purses or bags larger than 12x12x12 inches
  • Laptop computers
