Jaguars Host NFL Flag Regional Tournament

The Jaguars will host an NFL FLAG Regional Tournament on Saturday, October 18 at the Plantation Sports Complex on the Barco-Newton Family YMCA's soccer fields. Registration for the tournament ends October 5 and space is limited to the first 40 teams.

The tournament is a free, round-robin day-long event that promises to be a great day of football for kids. All official NFL FLAG teams are eligible to participate in the regional tournament where they will experience the excitement of competing against other local NFL FLAG enthusiasts. The age brackets are 9-11 coed, 12-14 girls and 12-14 boys.

Winning teams from each age bracket will participate in the NFL FLAG National Tournament of Champions presented by Baked! Cheetos, which takes place on November 22, 2008 in Orlando, Florida. Hotel accommodations and airfare will be paid for by the National Football League for one coach and up to 10 players.
