Jaguars LB Mike Peterson Recruiting for 2nd Annual "Bring It" Youth Football Camp

WHAT: Mike Peterson, a 10-year veteran and starting middle linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars will host his second annual youth football camp FREE of charge for 250 Jacksonville youth Saturday, May 31st at Ribault Senior High School in Jacksonville.

The Mike Peterson Bring It Youth Football Camp provides boys and girls, ages 8 – 17, a chance to be coached by the best the NFL has to offer. Expected to join Peterson's coaching staff this year are fellow teammates David Garrard, Drayton Florence, Greg Jones, Fred Taylor, Rashean Mathis, John Henderson and Daryl Smith; and brother/Chicago Bears RB Adrian Peterson. Also scheduled to join Peterson are Gerard Warren of the Broncos and Deon Grant of the Seahawks

In addition to the NFL players, high school, middle school and youth program coaches will also be present. Camper to coach ratio is no more than 13 to 1 to ensure that each participant receives proper supervision, small group instruction and maximum drill repetition.

The camp begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. and emphasizes fundamentals, form, technique and different aspects of each position and promotes good sportsmanship

At the end of the day, campers will participate in brief talks with players on key issues facing youth today. The "player talks" follow an open forum format, allowing for questions, group discussion and the opportunity to share personal experiences.

Check In Begins: 8:00 a.m.

Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Ribault Senior High School

COST: FREE (Camp enrollment is limited to 250 campers.)

Campers will receive a camp T-shirt, gift bag, and autographed photo from Mike. At the end of the day awards such as the daily hustle award and MVP award will be presented!

WHAT TO Campers should wear t-shirt, tennis shoes, shorts or sweats and bring sweat towel

BRING/WEAR: If available, camper should bring cleats.
