The Jacksonville Jaguars today placed offensive tackle Maurice Williams on injured reserve and activated linebacker T.J. Slaughter to the 53-man roster.
Williams suffered a broken right leg in the first quarter of yesterday's loss to the Tennessee Titans. He was replaced by Todd Fordham for the remainder of the game. Williams will be lost for the remainder of the season.
Slaughter had been suspended by the NFL on September 6 for four games for violating the league's policy on anabolic steroids and illegal substances. He received a one-game roster exemption last week.
