The Jaguars today signed veteran free agent linebacker Tim Shaw to a contract. The 6-1, 236-pounder was originally a fifth-round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2007 out of Penn State. The Livonia, Michigan native played in 14 games last season and ranked second on the squad with 14 special teams tackles. He was waived by the Panthers after the preseason on Aug. 30.
