JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed first-year TE Scott Orndoff, the club announced today. To make room on the roster, the team waived/injured TE Zach Conque. If Conque clears waivers tomorrow, he will revert to the Jaguars' reserve/injured list.

Orndoff, 6-4, 253 has yet to appear in an NFL game after originally signing as a rookie free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers on May 1, 2017. He spent parts of the 2017 preseason with both Pittsburgh and the Detroit Lions, and then spent time on the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad during the 2017 regular season.

Orndoff started 23 of 45 career games for the University of Pittsburgh and totaled 58 receptions for 897 yards with 13 TDs from 2013-16. He attended Seton-LaSalle High School in Pittsburgh, Pa. and was a two-time All-State Class AA selection by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers.
